The Band
The Facebook presentation of Inspirative tells us the following:
Inspirative is a post-rock band from Bangkok, Thailand formed in 2006.
The band initially started as a solo project of Noppanan Panicharoen. All members joined in 2008 and turned into a full band consist of
- Noppanan Panicharoen (Guitar),
- Amornthep Masawang (Bass),
- Wuttipong Huangpetch (Piano, Vocal).
- Nattanai Janjarassri (guitars)
- Ginn (drums)
When looking for more information on the lineup, the band was asked if they could tell us more about the band composition and how you met. For example on the video of “Felicity is out there” the drummer was male, and on the last LP it is a female drummer. Inspirative answer was:
"No, the current drummer is a man haha. In the early years, Noppanan started Inspirative project as a solo artist. Release 2 singles in a local post-rock compilation CD.
Then it has turned to be a full band with 5 members since 2007. We have changed some member a couples times. The first drummer is a man, his name is “Sirichai”. He left the band in 2013, then we got a female drummer “Suthasinee”. After that, in 2015 the formal guitarist “Pongpat” has left the band. We found a new guitarist “Nattanai” and he is the current member. At the end of 2016, Suthasinee left the band, then the current drummer “Ginn” has joined. So complicated :D "
They have no plan to add new members now.
The band's music is composed of expansive melodic guitar based and ambient field recordings.
Inspirative joined a label call FinalKid Group in 2007 and released 2 tracks "The Lost Moment" and "After Sunset" in the FinalKid Compilation 2. In 2008, Inspirative released a 3 songs EP "Floating Down Through The Clouds".
